A SALUTARY CRISIS AFTER TREATMENT?

Dernière mise à jour : 16 déc. 2024

It can happen that after an energy treatment or a magnetism session, the patient goes through a state that seems to get worse: the blues, heartache, dizziness, extreme fatigue, diarrhea, red patches on the skin, the appearance of pimples... All sorts of symptoms are possible. And that's when panic sets in! You're hoping to get better, and then everything goes to hell! Rest assured, this kind of “salutary crisis” is common, and it's a sign that the treatment has been effective, and that the emunctories (the body's evacuation organs) have set off on the great cleansing.

What is a salutary crisis?

Let's take a look at how this works, but first let's understand the meaning of all those words  that the body expresses to us. What is a salutary crisis? Let's take the meaning of these two words separately, to better understand what can happen when we feel all upset after an energy treatment.

Le petit Littré gives us the following definition of "crisis “Medical term. A change that occurs in the course of an illness and is announced by certain specific phenomena, such as abundant excretion, heavy bleeding, sweating, a deposit in the urine, etc.". Happy crisis. Fateful crisis... Crise magnétique, name of the state into which magnetized people fall”.

For salutary, the Petit Littré says: “Useful for the preservation of life, health, honor, for the salvation of the soul, etc.” and the French Encyclopedia adds: “which helps to maintain or restore a good physical or moral state, which is necessary to maintain a good balance”.

It's easy to see what we're talking about! The expressions (words, ailments) of the physical body that may occur after a magnetic or energetic treatment are often the result of an effect on one of the 5 emunctories of the body, whose main function is to evacuate miasmas, toxins and other unassimilable wastes.

Emunctories, my dear Watson!

These 5 emunctories are the organs that specialize, among other things, in the evacuation of waste. Our well-being obviously depends on their proper functioning. These organs are: the liver, the kidneys, the lungs, the skin, and the intestines.

During an in-office treatment, the first essential task is to cleanse the body of the waste products that clog our tissues and prevent them from functioning properly, thus creating the symptoms that prompt the patient to consult us (symptoms or dysfunctions of the physical, mental or emotional body). These symptoms are often due to the excesses of the hectic life we lead today: bad eating habits, vaccines, medicines of all kinds, stress, pollution of all kinds, heavy metals, waves, difficulties in communication or relationships...

Emunctors, without necessarily being ill, become less efficient. A gentle but effective treatment encourages them to start working again, and the salutary crisis occurs between 3 hours and... sometimes 3 weeks, depending on the type of treatment received.

So far, so clear, but if you come for a psycho-energetic treatment because your difficulties are more professional or relational, what could be the connection with the liver, kidneys or intestines?

A thought for the gut

Concretions in the earth's belly
Concretions in the earth's belly

In the human body (and indeed everywhere), everything is interconnected, nothing is separate; it functions as a perfect symbiotic system, with each of our cells communicating with its neighbor, each dependent on the others.

Thus, the seat of emotional expression is not in the brain or the heart, but in... the gut. According to neuro-gastroenterologist Jean Fioramonti, "The intestine has the same number of neurons as the brain. It is the only organ that has its own nervous system"; it has even been described as the 2nd brain. It has to carry out certain digestive processes to produce and facilitate the assimilation of nutrients, vitamins and minerals, to completely transform certain foods to make them usable, to synthesize natural antibiotics, and even to produce between 70 and 85% of the body's immune cells that innervate the organs, and 95% of serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in the management of... emotions! Its wall, impervious to fibers and other non-assimilable elements (but essential because they help transport the alimentary bolus), must remain porous to let through all the other elements necessary for the life of the organic system, a rigorous sorting process that upsets the slightest alteration.

In short, it does a lot, a lot, and when it tires, it saturates... And slowly we're more tired, more irritable, more fragile, less courageous... As well as more easily experiencing the ailments that have unfortunately become commonplace: bloating (it makes me bloated!), diarrhea (it irritates me!), constipation and flatulence (it makes my life rotten!)... The world around us suddenly becomes less bearable!

All this makes us a little hot-tempered, and life's little difficulties become big problems (it gets on my nerves!), because of course, when the body cries out in pain in a certain place, the whole vital system mobilizes to save the point of fragility.

How can we put up with colleagues who are themselves under stress, when we're already sick to our stomachs, when we're tired, when our brains are only working at 60% of their capacity, so mobilized are they to try to survive the aggressions that are piling up (stress and other malnutrition mentioned above)?

Vital energies are blocked, they no longer circulate, and comes vicious circle of drugs, intestinal laziness, waste overload, pain, painkillers ...An energy treatment helps restore energy flow to the weakness point. With contribution of this new energy, guts start to work again and assume its leading role: evacuate. If the environment is too acidic for example, this causes diarrhea.

But what to do then?

Whatever the energy treatment and wherever it takes effect, you need to drink water and stay calm in the hours that follow. Don't stay up too late, don't be too hectic, and don't exercise. Ideally, you should rest, eat lightly, and drink the appropriate herbal tea for the treatment. Above all, don't panic: write down your symptoms and sensations, your dreams, and any unusual behavior or events that occur after the treatment, and tell your therapist about them at your next appointment.

Life is a path on which we slowly progress...
